Ninja vs. Creeper

Spook season rolled around with the thrill of costumes, candy, and jack-o-lanterns.  Lucky for this mom, X-man loved last year's costume so much he wanted to wear it again! and L wanted to be a stealthy ninja which wasn't hard to come up with. Hurray!

Who took out who?  The Ninja or the Creeper?
They both came home with gobs of candy!

A. demonstrated how creepy our witches' fingers were.
She isn't really picking her nose. We don't allow that at our house--not even at Halloween!

Our spooky, gross Halloween dinner:
jack-o-lantern pizza, monster mouths, witches' fingers, and swamp water with worms.
 Yummy!

Throughout the week, we got scary carving our pumpkins.
Sadly, my girls are growing up and didn't want to carve.
They are growing up...actually, doing some homework.

 Yes, X-man carved a throwing-up pumpkin!

 L. went for The Creeper look!

Scary!

Also, earlier this week we went to our ward's Trunk or Treat/Chili Cook-off and Pie Cook-off. Wow! Tons of chili, lots of pie, hundreds of little dressed up princesses, spookies, and everything else made for a festive party.  I even won 2nd place for my Creamy White Chicken Chili!  Who would have guessed?  Not me.

Now to figure out how to keep my children from rotting out all their teeth with the boatloads of candy we have. Dentists will certainly love us.
