B. had Girls' Camp last week for 4 days. I was nervous (she's never been away from us for that long); she was excited. I thought she might be a little homesick while there, but I was wrong. She had too much fun to be homesick. She swam, fished (and caught 5 fish), rode horses (her favorite part), went down a water slide, performed in a skit with the other girls from our ward (church congregation), was uplifted and reminded of who she is, and loved. One leader she just adores. Anything this leader says is absolute truth. We were glad to get her back home, and she is now resigned to the idea of being home with chores, active brothers and sister, earlier bedtime, and a mom and dad who "instruct" or nag depending who you talk to.
A. has been swimming like a fish with swimming lessons. She's really good. She's learned the freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke. She is also learning how to dolphin kick and flip around underwater.
Waiting to swim.
Jump!
Little fish!
T. is busy being a great dad. We celebrated him on Sunday with lots of candy and a yummy dinner.
Early morning hugs!
