Looking for that perfect gift? Trying to get the Christmas shopping done before the mad rush? Here's the perfect gift for your 3 year old! His booster seat! We brought in the car seat today as we were switching cars around and just set it to the side. L popped himself in it, strapped himself in, and realized he was...stuck. Hmmm...this could be useful. The magical car seat has provided hours and hours of entertainment for L and X as they've made it into a race car, a space ship, a fort, and lots of other things that only they can imagine. So just bring in the car seat and stick it under the Christmas tree. Voila--Christmas is taken care of minus the headache.

Kids are so funny. I love how old things are new again when you put them in a different spot. I love to rearrange their rooms because they think it's all fun!
We've had the same magical transformation from ordinary carseat to fantastical imagination station once brought in the house. Why can't a carseat be fun while actually in the car? Something to ponder... ;)
